Mason Kelley vs. Brett Kingma — Three-point contest

MK_Outline (2).jpg

Once upon a time, I felt like I was a fair to decent three-point shooter. Now a few years older, but certainly not much wiser, I decided to test my shot against the state’s top long-range marksman, Jackson senior Brett Kingma.

It should come as little surprise that Kingma, the University of Oregon-bound leader of the third-ranked Timberwolves, won the contest. However, I held my own.

Not convinced, see for yourself. Here’s video proof.

I would also like to thank Matthew Robertson, a Jackson graduate, who shot and produced the video. As usual, his work is impeccable. Credit also needs to go to Kingma, who agreed to the contest despite having a Class 4A state playoff game against Auburn the next night.
