High-school baseball highlights from Wednesday

Here is a look back at Wednesday’s high-school baseball action.

Kentridge 14, Kentlake 4

Kyle Leady was 4 for 4 with a homer, two doubles and six RBI to lead the Chargers. Sheldon Stober finished 3 for 3 with a double, two RBI and four runs scored.

Carl Derline and Joe Wainhouse homered for Kentridge, while Ryan Archibald and D.J. Elmer homered for Kentlake.

Kentridge is now 4-0 and has beaten top 10 teams in back-to-back games.

Mount Rainier 16, Kent-Meridian 0

Kevin Smith went 2 for 3 with a triple and two RBI for the Rams. Michael Cwalima was 2 for 3 with a double.

Beamer 13, Spanaway Lake 8

Lawyer Braun was 3 for 3 with three RBI and three runs scored. He also stole four bases for Beamer.

Brett Oyer picked up the win and struck out seven.

Tahoma 14, Jefferson 4

— Tahoma’s Reed Johnson was 3 for 3 with a homer, double and four RBI. Connor Cloyd went 2 for 3 with a double and three RBI.

Mountlake Terrace 2, Monroe 1 (8 inn.)

Kevin Sheets allowed one run (unearned) on two hits and struck out eight during a complete-game victory.

Snohomish 13, Lynnwood 3

Nick Frisk doubled twice and drove in three, while Eric Koenig went 3 for 4 with a homer and a double.

Bishop Blanchet 4, O’Dea 3

Max Engelbrekt went 2 for 2 with an RBI and picked up the win on the mound, striking out seven to lead Blanchet.

Nathan Hale 5, Chief Sealth 0

— Nathan Hale’s Aaron Thomassen struck out six over six innings to pick up the win. According to what was reported to us, Chief Sealth pitcher Keone Kela struck out 11 over four innings.

Lakeside 7, Seattle Prep 4

Clayton Brock went 2 for 3 with two doubles and three RBI for Lakeside.

Luke Simpson homered and drove in three runs for Seattle Prep.

West Seattle 11, Ingraham 1

Kellen Gearon went 2 for 2 with an RBI and two runs scored, while Tim Tinkler finished 2 for 3 with a triple and two RBI for West Seattle.

Eastside Catholic 10, Bainbridge 5

Matt Wenzinger went 2 for 3 with an RBI and three runs scored. Justin David was 3 for 4 with an RBI. He scored twice.

Hazen 9, Highline 5

Zac Kolterman went 2 for 3 with a double and five RBI for Hazen.

Kennedy Catholic 13, Renton 0

Grant Perotti homered, scored twice and drove in three for Kennedy. Max Larsen went 4 for 4 with an RBI and a run scored.

Lindbergh 12, Tyee 2

Cameron Callen went 4 for 4 with a double, three RBI, three runs scored and two stolen bases.

Enumclaw 15, Lakes 1

Tyler Carlson homered, Trenton Disque doubled and drove in two, Kyle Thomson doubled and drove in three and Michael Lucarelli had two RBI and scored twice in Enumclaw’s win.

Archbishop Murphy 8, Sultan 2

Logan Kegley gave up two runs on four hits and struck out six during a complete-game victory for Archbishop Murphy.

Connon Huesers and Trever Morrison doubled and drove in two runs apiece.

Cedarcrest 20, Coupeville 1

Alex Hueter went 2 for 3 with a homer, three RBI and three runs scored, while Daniel Porter was 2 for 2 with a homer, two RBI and three runs scored.

Tanner Marty doubled, scored four runs and drove in a pair. Tyler Reeves finished 2 for 4 with two RBI and three runs scored.

Bellevue Christian 15, University Prep 5

Ryan Fitzpatrick went 2 for 3 with a triple, double and four RBI for Bellevue Christian and JoJo Howie homered.
