Class 4A and 3A high-school softball rankings — Week 4

It was a very quiet week of high-school softball, thanks both to spring break and poor weather.

Many of the ranked teams didn’t play. Some got in just one game. And only one top-10 team lost — Kelso, which went down against Chehalis, a 2A team.

So, the rankings remain the same in 4A, and in 3A Kelso slips from No. 3 to No. 7, with the others inbetween sliding up a notch.

Things should be a little more exciting this week — if, that is, the weather cooperates any better than it has. One key game Tuesday pits No. 3 Bainbridge against No. 9 Holy Names. Both are unbeaten. And over in Spokane, No. 4 University plays Mount Spokane (5-1).

On Friday, you might want to catch Jackson against Snohomish (both have just one loss).

In the meantime, here you go:

1. Woodinville (4-0)

2. Walla Walla (7-0)
