High-school boys soccer highlights from Tuesday

There were lots of soccer matches played Tuesday, and here are the highlights:

Garfield 4, Ballard 0

Sean Russell got the scoring started, then assisted on the next two goals. Jackson White earned the shutout for the eighth-ranked Bulldogs.

Newport 1, Eastlake 0

Nick Shankland recorded the shutout and Beni Ieremine got the lone goal off a feed from Brendon Koch.

Issaquah 3, Redmond 2

Alex Shane had a goal and an assist for the Eagles.

Inglemoor 2, Roosevelt 1

Greg Hubert assisted on the first goal and scored the second.

Woodinville 2, Bothell 0

Austin James provided both goals (no goalie listed).

Beamer 9, Curtis 1

Troy Peterson and Ugo Okoli both had hat tricks for the ninth-ranked Titans. Peterson also added an assist, while Ike Crook had four of them.

Emerald Ridge 1, Rogers 1

After Cory McLellan gave the 10th-ranked Jaguars the early lead, Spencer Nakamura tied it in the 60th minute.

Graham-Kapowsin 6, Spanaway Lake 1

Wyatt Plattner scored three times (and had an assist), Erik Nothstein struck twice and McKray Kohn tallied three assists.

Kentlake 3, Auburn Riverside 2

Greg Gordon delivered a pair of assists for the Falcons.

Kentwood 1, Jefferson 0

Cody Crook scored off a feed from Jared Fuller in the 25th minute and Stein Christensen made it stand up.

Mount Rainier 4, Kent-Meridian 0

Mike Arguello and Chase Casias shared the shutout.

Tahoma 3, Kentridge 1

Jordan Downing sparked the Bears with a goal and an assist.

Jackson 3, Lake Stevens 2

Guy Shively scored all three goals for the fifth-ranked Timberwolves, with the game-winner coming in the 83rd minute.

Marysville-Pilchuck 2, Edmonds-Woodway 1

Anthony Johnson and Fabian Panduro gave No. 6 M-P a 2-0 lead.

Sammamish 2, Bellevue 1

Beau Blanchard assisted on both goals for the fifth-ranked Totems.

Lake Washington 1, Juanita 0 (OT)

Jordan Cox found the back of the net in the 89th minute off a feed from Justin Manao and Andreas Verduzco got the shutout.

Mercer Island 3, Mount Si 1

The Islanders showed their versatility as three different players scored off assists from three others.

Liberty 1, Interlake 1

Sunjay Bhatia scored on a penalty kick to tie it.

Seattle Prep 6, Eastside Catholic 1

Jake Hallgrimson tallied a hat trick, while Robby Dohm scored twice.

Chief Sealth 1, West Seattle 0

Luis Ramirez logged the shutout and the Seahawks got their lone goal from Jordan Luna, off a feed from Mori Tsuchiym.

Ingraham 2, Franklin 0

Faramarz Yagmai-Zadeh assisted on the first goal and scored the second, while Colton Westmark shut Franklin out.

Hazen 3, Renton 1

The Highlanders got goals from three sources.

Shorecrest 6, Oak Harbor 0

Alex Wickstrom stepped up with two goals and an assist for the second-ranked Scots, while Chris Iocolucci went the other way, with two assists and a goal. Ian Adams added two assists and the shutout was shared by Sam Schober and Miles Yates.

Shorewood 3, Lynnwood 0

Tanner Jones booted two goals for the No. 7 Thunderbirds and Eugene Holley had a pair of assists (no goalie listed).

Everett 2, Meadowdale 1 (OT)

Sam Nelson scored in the 90th minute to break the 1-1 tie.

Franklin Pierce 2, Steilacoom 1

An Erick Ramirez penalty kick gave FP a 2-0 lead.

Sumner 2, Eatonville 1

Jose Hernandez notched both Sumner goals.

White River 6, Clover Park 1

Ben Angelsino scored twice and Josh Kirk logged two assists.

Tyee 6, Friday Harbor 0

The Totems got two goals apiece from Gerald Satele, Freddi Altamirano and Hamza Mohamud (no goalie listed).

Seattle Christian 5, Life Christian 0

Josh Gehrke and a goal and an assist and Ben Piehler contributed two assists. Tyler Gunhus earned the shutout.

Vashon 2, Chimcacum 0

Phillip Vandevanter logged the shutout.

Charles Wright 5, Oring 1

Andrew Cheney collected a hat trick.
