High-school baseball highlights from Thursday

Here is a look back at Thursday’s high-school baseball highlights.

Skyline 8, Eastlake 7

Travis Snider drove in a pair of runs and Clayton Huber went 2 for 3 with an RBI and a run scored for Skyline.

Eastlake’s Casey Fithian went 3 for 4 with two doubles, an RBI and three runs scored.

Bothell 6, Inglemoor 4

Rex Carlin and Jon Mercer homered, helping Bothell edge Inglemoor.

Kentridge 12, Auburn 5

Ben Krueger went 3 for 5 with a double and an RBI and Sheldon Stober doubled and scored four runs for Kentridge.

Snohomish 4, Monroe 1

Haakon Lande homered in Snohomish’s win over Monroe.

Mercer Island 15, Interlake 8

Jordan Richartz doubled twice for Mercer Island.

Mount Si 12, Juanita 8

Trevor Lane homered in Mount Si’s win over Juanita.

Chief Sealth 10, Lakeside 6

— Chief Sealth’s Keone Kela doubled, tripled and drove in a run.

West Seattle 6, Franklin 4

Jeff Freeman and Jeff Watkins homered, while Kellen Gearon doubled twice for West Seattle.

Clayton Joyce hit a home run for Franklin.

Foster 8, Renton 0

— Foster’s Gabe Guiterrez scattered four hits and struck out six during a complete-game shutout.

Shorewood 9, Lynnwood 8

— Shorewood’s Trevor Mitsui went 3 for 3 with a homer, two doubles and three RBI.

Colin Samuelson and Jordan Silva homered for Lynnwood.

Shorecrest 6, Mountlake Terrace 3

Hayden McNabb homered and Michael Rigby went 2 for 3 with a double and four RBI for Shorecrest.

Keegan Volpone homered for Mountlake Terrace.

Meadowdale 6, Everett 5

Sam Thomas hit a pair of solo home runs, helping Meadowdale edge Everett.

Bellevue Christian 23, Bush 1 (Game 1)

Dewald De-Klerk went 3 for 4 with a triple, five RBI and two runs scored, while Nat Townsend homered, doubled, drove in three runs and scored twice in the first game of a doubleheader.

Bellevue Christian 12, Bush 0

Nat Townsend continued his hot hitting in the second game of a doubleheader, going 2 for 2 with a home run and three RBI.
