A few high-school softball highlights from Monday

The rain washed out a number of games again Monday — including the showdown between No. 1 Woodinville and No. 8 Eatslake (now rescheduled for Thursday at Eastlake).

But there were a handful played.

The upset of the day was Auburn Riverside’s 10-8 victory over previously unbeaten Kentlake, ranked No. 3. Oregon-bound Hannah Melick had another big day at the plate for the Ravens (3-for-4, 3B, 2 runs). Jamie Koenig was 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs, while Meghan Lindgren doubled and finished with four RBI. Kentlake, which faces No. 5 Tahoma twice this week, got a 3-for-4 effort from Erin Crowley, including a double. She also scored twice. Alexis Engman went 3-for-3 with a triple, two RBI and three runs.

We got scores only from Rogers’ double-header sweep over Beamer (13-4, 18-10), so no highlights to share there. Here are the only other two games reported to The Times:

Inglemoor 16, Redmond 10

The Vikings got home runs from Taylor Peacocke (3-for-3, 2 RBI, 3 runs) and Holly Sandborg (2-for-3, 3 RBI, 3 runs). For Redmond, Natalie Roberts was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI, while Chelsea Rakonza went 2-for-4 with three RBI and Christine Ho finished 2-for-3.

Chimacum 15, Cascade Christian 3

Hannah Baird and Bridget Galle drove in three apiece for the Cowboys.
