Here is a press release about a football camp coming up this summer at Husky Stadium:
Former Husky football players Greg Lewis, Donald Jones, Charles Mincy and Mario Bailey highlight a group of decorated players hosting a football camp at historic Husky Stadium. Pro Athletes International, a non-profit organization led by Donald Jones, will be in Seattle on July 16-18 running its football and Life Skills camps for aspiring athletes in the greater Puget Sound area. The two -day camp will feature several former Husky and professional football players not only sharing their football knowledge but also life lessons that helped them be successful both on and off the field.
The camp will feature position instruction, team concepts, strength and conditioning training, Sparq combine testing, and participation in a 7on7 passing tournament. If you are interested in your child learning from the pros and having certified combine numbers for college recruiters this is the camp you want him to attend. Each position will be coached by a college or professional that actually has played the position. The strength and conditioning as well as the Sparq testing will be conducted by trained professionals so that each camper will be able to leave with new training info as well as 40 yrd. dash and agility testing numbers to add to their college recruiting resume.
The camp is open to all ages and skill levels so if this is your senior year or you are just starting out you will benefit tremendously from the camp. The coaches will begin with the fundamentals for the younger players and equip some of the more experienced kids with some of the nuances of the position that helped make them capable of playing at the highest levels.
The opportunity to play on historic Husky Stadiums field is rare so this might be a once in a life time opportunity for the camp participants. Both the main stadium and practice field will be used by all players ending with the 7on 7 passing tournament providing them the chance to “play at Husky Stadium.”
