Thursday’s high-school baseball highlights

Here is a look back at Thursday’s high-school baseball highlights.

Arlington 8, Stanwood 0

— Arlington’s Tre Mendenhall homered in the win.

Lake Stevens 13, Snohomish 4

Dylan LaVelle went 2 for 3 and scored twice, while Matt Sweeney homered for Lake Stevens.

Kamiak 12, Edmonds-Woodway 1

Jacob Bettencourt homered and doubled, Seth Heck went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double and Alex Schmidt doubled twice for Kamiak.

Liberty 12, Sammamish 2

Ryan Maio homered, doubled and scored twice, while Scott Zerda went 3 for 4 with an RBI and a run scored.

Eastside Catholic 10, Lakeside 3

— Eastside Catholic’s Matt Wenzinger went 2 for 4 with a grand slam and two runs scored.

Franklin 10, Ingraham 2

Xavier Conway went 3 for 3 with a triple, while Evan Gray doubled twice for Franklin.

Scott Sieverson went 3 for 4 with a double for Ingraham.

Bellevue Christian 7, University Prep 4

Jo Jo Howie homered and Nat Townsend went 2 for 3 with a double, an RBI and a run scored for Bellevue Christian.
