High-school baseball highlights from Monday

Here is a look back at Monday’s high-school baseball action.

KingCo 4A tournament

Metro League tournament

Chief Sealth 4, Bishop Blanchet 3

Keone Kela struck out 12 and C.J. Hicks went 3 for 4 with an RBI for Chief Sealth.

O’Dea 7, Nathan Hale 4

Liam Clements and Sutton Lowry homered for O’Dea in the win.

Brady Kerr went 2 for 2 with a solo home run.

Seattle Prep 6, West Seattle 4, 9 inn.

Nick Pribble hit a two-run homer in the top of the ninth inning to lift Seattle Prep over West Seattle. Pribble finished with four RBI.

Jamie Hall went 4 for 5 with an RBI. Jeff Freeman and Sam Hellinger homered for West Seattle.

Northwest 3A District tournament

Shorewood 10, Shorecrest 0

— Shorewood’s Blake Snell allowed one hit and struck out 10 during a complete-game shutout. He was also 2 for 3 with four RBI.

Trevor Mitsui and Duncan Hendrickson homered for the Thunderbirds.

Meadowdale 2, Mount Vernon 0

Sam Triece allowed one hit and struck out 10 over 6 1/3 scoreless innings for Meadowdale.

Mountlake Terrace 7, Ferndale 0

— Mountlake Terrace’s Kevin Sheets gave up one hit and struck out five during a complete-game shutout.

Northwest 4A District tournament

Edmonds-Woodway 8, Marysville-Pilchuck 3

Austin Jones doubled and homered and Troy Rheinford homered for Edmonds-Woodway.

Kamiak 4, Lake Stevens 2

Seth Heck went 3 for 3 with four runs scored and Sam Richards scattered five hits over seven scoreless innings for Kamiak.

Mariner 12, Snohomish 8

Tyler Coles stole four bases for Mariner. Eric Koenig, Jordan Ridley and Blake Simpson all homered for Snohomish.
