High-school baseball highlights from Tuesday

Here is a look back at Tuesday’s high-school baseball action.

KingCo 3A tournament

Sammamish 1, Bellevue 0

— Sammamish’s Joe Giacchetti threw seven scoreless innings and Chris Strain doubled, tripled and drove in a run.

Mercer Island 10, Liberty 1

— Mercer Island’s Max Dammeier allowed one run on one hit and struck out five over six innings.

Brian Higgins went 2 for 4 with a doubled and two RBI, Evan Thompson was 2 for 2 with a doubled and two RBI and Cameron Ogard finished 2 for 3 with three RBI.

KingCo 4A tournament

Inglemoor 9, Woodinville 8

Brendan Edwards went 4 for 4, while Blake Wilson doubled and tripled for Inglemoor.

Shea Donlin drove in a pair for Woodinville.

Redmond 7, Skyline 0

Zach Abbruzza helped keep the Mustangs’ season alive, allowing two hits and striking out seven during a complete-game shutout.

Dylan Davis hit a three-run homer for Redmond.

Northwest 2A District tournament

Archbishop Murphy 3, Cedarcrest 1

Connor Huesers doubled and drove in three runs for Archbishop Murphy.

Class 2B bi-district tournament

Seattle Lutheran 10, Concrete 0

Beau Besaw went 2 for 3 with two doubles, three RBI and two runs scored, while Evan Clements finished 2 for 3 with two RBI and two runs scored for Seattle Lutheran.

Northwest 3A District tournament

Meadowdale 5, Glacier Peak 4

Chris Osborne homered and Jon Boone went 3 for 4 with an RBI for Meadowdale.

Tim Peruchini went 2 for 4 with a home run and two RBI for Glacier Peak.

Shorewood 8, Mountlake Terrace 1

Duncan Hendickson went 4 for 4 with a home run, two doubles and four RBI, while Max Jacobs was 2 for 3 with a double and a home run for Shorewood.

Henry McAree improved to 9-1, allowing two hits over six scoreless innings.

Northwest 4A District tournament

Lake Stevens 12, Arlington 1

— Lake Stevens hit five homers, J.T. Cox hit two and Dylan LaVelle, Logan Merrill and Matt Sweeney all hit one.

Marysville-Pilchuck 10, Snohomish 0

Joe Morgan and Kyle Nobach homered for Marysville-Pilchuck, while Brandon Dormier went 2 for 3 with three RBI.

West Central/Southwest 4A Bi-District tournament

Kentwood 15, Gig Harbor 7

Kyle Doyle went 2 for 5 with four RBI and Cash McGwire scored four runs for Kentwood.

Kentridge 7, Kentlake 1

Ben Krueger and Axl Snure homered for Kentridge, while Brian Hartnett went deep for Kentlake.

Puyallup 11, Union 1

Matt Becker went 2 for 4 with a homer and two RBI, while James Harris homered and drove in three runs for for Puyallup.
