Woodinville beat Eastlake Monday, 5-2, to earn the No. 1 seed into the KingCo 4A softball tournament and clinch a state berth.
The top-ranked Falcons, 20-0, are now placed into Thursday’s championship game. The first- and second-place finishers in the tourney both advance to state. The third-place team plays the No. 3 WesCo seed for a final berth.
No. 5 Eastlake (18-3), which also lost to Woodinville in the regular season, has a first-round bye and plays Wednesday against the winner of today’s Inglemoor-Redmond game.
Monday’s game was tied 2-2 until the Falcons scored three in the top of the sixth, the final two coming on a double by Makenna Weir. Sara Anderson was 3-for-4 and scored twice. Madi Schreyer picked up her 11th victory of the season.
For Eastlake, Kelsey Dempsey and Sammi Stavig each had two hits.

Issaquah 6, Redmond 4
Brielle Bray went 4-for-4 with a double and picked up the victory on the mound, striking out eight. Traci Castonguay also had four htis. For Redmond, Louise Chouinard went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBI, while Stephanie Gero had a double and single and Ashley Mitchell tripled, scoring twice.
Roosevelt 6, Garfield 0
Rachael Cochran was 3-for-4 with a double, and Megan Campbell struck out 10 to key the victory. Olivia Turner had two of Garfield’s four hits.
Bellevue Christian 7, Seattle Christian 5
Ali King was the spark, smacking a double and triple.
