Decatur announces coaching change in girls basketball

Alison Batchelder has been named the new girls basketball coach at Decatur.

She was an assistant in the program last year under Kevin Rawie, who stepped down in February after five years as head coach in order to pursue an administrative career.

Rawie has had several stints as head coach over the past 12 years, spending one year at Mount Rainier and four at Kentridge with the girls programs sandwiched around two seasons as head boys coach at Hazen. He retires with a career record of 118-137.
