When O’Dea players think about the 2010 season, there are a lot of pleasant memories. But two games — the season’s first and last — left a lingering aftertaste
There was the opening game of the season, a 28-0 home loss to Capital, and then came the playoff loss to the Cougars, 13-12.
Those two losses, the only two O’Dea suffered, provide plenty of motivation for 2011’s core group of returners.
The Irish are planning for an extended run through the postseason this year and one player who will help them get there is 5-foot-10, 150-pound running back/defensive back Tatum Taylor.
Taylor looks like he’s hit a bit of a growth spurt since I last talked to him in the spring. The junior took some time Wednesday to talk about the upcoming season and his performance at the AAU Junior Olympics.
