Catching up with Federal Way defensive tackle Uso Olive

Uso Olive expects big things out of Federal Way’s football team in 2011.

The 6-foot-1, 305-pound senior defensive tackle said the Eagles spent the offseason working on team chemistry and he expects the difference to be noticeable once the season begins.

While talking to Olive about the upcoming season, I asked him about the recruiting process and he told me he recently committed to Portland State.

The news came as a surprise to some, considering Scout.com has him listed as having a Pac-12 scholarship offer from Arizona State, but on Friday he seemed content with his decision.
