Kentlake standouts talk about high-school football season

When asked about Kentlake’s biggest strength, Caleb Saulo talked about the Falcons’ defense.

Faced with the same question, Austin Pernell said Kentlake’s offense is its top asset.

What does this mean?

If they’re both right, it means there’s plenty for the Falcons to be excited about. One thing is certain, both Saulo, a 6-foot-2, 215-pound quarterback and linebacker, and Pernell, a 5-11, 186-pound defensive back and receiver, will have a lot say about how Kentlake’s season unfolds.

Both seniors took some time to talk about the 2011 season before taking the field for their first practice of the season.
