Highlight video — O’Dea running back Tatum Taylor

As I put the finishing touches on The Times’ preseason all-state team, one position that isn’t easy to sort out is running back.

Mariner’s KeiVarae Russell is the obvious choice for one spot, but after there is a good group of players who could all be in for big years. For example, Federal Way’s D.J. May had a great summer. Before leaving Eastside Catholic, Jason Gesser raved about Chevelle Walker and Lakes’ Levonte Littlejohn is another name that comes up consistently.

Well, throw O’Dea junior Tatum Taylor into that mix as well. Known more for his accomplishments on the track, the speedy back should have a big season for the Irish. I knew he was a good football player, but his highlight tape really backs that up.

Here it is:

Here is a link to a recent video interview I did with Taylor, talking about his summer and the 2011 season.

Here is a story I wrote about Taylor in the spring.
