Bellevue’s Tyler Hasty talks after Oaks Christian win

Attention all Division I schools not currently recruiting Bellevue’s Tyler Hasty — it’s time to take notice.

The senior defensive back put on a show Saturday with two interceptions and one of the better defensive plays I’ve seen recently that created the third turnover he forced during the Wolverines’ 31-21 victory over Oaks Christian.

During what looked to be a demoralizing big gain on a completion from the Lions’ Lucas Falk to standout Ishmael Adams — it was close to a 50-yard play — Hasty caught Adams from behind and stripped the ball.

Hasty didn’t just knock it free. He snatched it away. Whether it was as a quarterback or defensive back, Hasty make big plays throughout the game and he talked about the experience in this video:
