The K Kast: Where does Washington stand with local recruits?

Happy Thanksgiving!

The K Kast would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday. We hope you enjoy the food and, of course, the football.

When taking a food break later today, click on the link below and check out this week’s show.

Over the past two recruiting classes Washington coach Steve Sarkisian has put a wall around Washington. However, the Huskies face their biggest challenge this year with a huge group of big-name in-state recruits.

Tacoma Baptist lineman Walker Williams (Wisconsin) and Lakes athlete Cedric Dozier (California) have already picked schools other than Washington. Lakes lineman Zach Banner, Puyallup lineman Joshua Garnett and Mariner running back KeiVarae Russell are some of the big names who have yet to make a decision.

We talk about where these guys might be leaning and what that means for the Huskies moving forward.

Since we were on the subject of recruiting, we asked Shawn Kemp what it was like when he went through the recruiting process. The Reignman also ranted about the NBA lockout. He talks with a lot of the local guys and he talked about how they’re dealing with the situation.

We hope you enjoy this week’s show.
