Some high-school girls basketball highlights from Tuesday

Here are some highlights from the Tuesday girls basketball games reported to The Times:

Mount Rainier 69, Tahoma 28

The second-ranked Rams got a big night from the twins Brittany and Jordan McPhee, who poured in 25 and 17 points, respectively. Kiana Gandy added 10. For Tahoma, Kymber Morrison had a team-high 9.

Auburn Riverside 53, Kentridge 41

Jalea Crump did the bulk of the damage with 26 points as the Ravens remained unbeaten. They have a big test Thursday against Mount Rainier. Alicia Dugan topped the Kentridge scoring with 13.

Kentwood 38, Auburn 29

Jenny Johnson accounted for nearly half of the Conquerors’ scoring with 18. They pulled away with a 12-4 advantage in the fourth period. Jasmine Tomac led Auburn with 11.

Jefferson 43, Kent-Meridian 36

Jada Piper hit for 18 as the Raiders overcame a slow start (they were outscored 9-3 in the first quarter). K-M’s Aubreyana Anderson scored 17.

Emerald Ridge 63, Puyallup 45

Taylor Buie was at it again, pumping in 35 points for ER. Puyallup got 14 from Hailey Smoot and 12 from Marisse Miller.

Spanaway Lake 48, Graham-Kapowsin 36

The Sentinels had three players in double figures — Nneka Nnadi (16), LeAnne Willingham (13) and Raina Frazier (11).

Lakes 49, Bellevue 41

Aubre Mitchell sparked the Lancers, ranked No. 9 in 3A, with 13 points. Bellevue was paced by Holly Warendorf (14), Kate Holmes (11) and Katie Savard (10).

Renton 73, Highline 43

Only Renton scoring provided and the Indians were led by Barshell Walker (23 points) and Marisa Munoz (14).

South Whidbey 60, Lakewood 52

South Whidbey used a three-pronged attack as Jessica Manka scored 16, Haley Newman 14 and Makenzie Peterson 11. Lakewood’s Ashley Orr had a big night with 32 points and Kaylee Diggs added 11.

White River 65, Clover Park 23

Kennedy Hobert keyed the victory with 19 points and got help from Cassidy France (14) and Amanda Lance (12).

Washington 54, Steilacoom 32

Jakajah Douglas and Sam Schubach put up matching 14s and Emily Herde chipped in 13 for the Patriots. Janett Trujillo led Steilacoom with 12.

Eatonville 52, Sumner 45

Lacie Hill tossed in 25 points and Jessica Stead followed with 12 for the Cruisers. Sumner got 14 from Tayler Holtman and 12 from Jamie Lange.

Fife 44, Franklin Pierce 40

Ciara Pedroni was the difference for the Trojans as she hit for 22 points. FP was led by Gabby Evans with 16.

Bellevue Christian 55, University Prep 26

Bree Oldham (23 points) and Alina Valle (20) keyed the victory.

Seattle Academy 44, Overlake 20

Campbell Reynolds and Liat Perlin led a balanced Seattle Academy attack with 10 points apiece.

La Conner 56, Cedar Park Christian 26

Alyssa McCormick led the way with 14 points and Nikki Finley was close behind with 13. Cedar Park’s Jess Castor finished with 13.

Darrington 58, Orcas Island 45

All but two points of Darrington’s scoring came from Jessica Brooks (14), Cassandra Counsins (11) and Amy Miles (11).

Puget Sound Adventist 48, Rainier Christian 39

Only Rainier Christian scoring provided, led by the 15 points of Vanessa Butler.
