Tuesday’s boys high-school basketball highlights

Here is a look back at the boys high-school basketball highlights from Tuesday night.

Third-ranked Rainier Beach knocked off top-ranked Seattle Prep, 64-56.

Bothell 83, Redmond 72

Zach LaVine and Perrion Callandret make up one of the state’s top backcourts and they proved it Tuesday. LaVine dropped in 34 points and Callandret added 28, helping the Cougars knock off Redmond.

Jason Harrington led Redmond with 28 points.

Ballard 66, Eastlake 55

Stuart MacGeorge finished with a game-high 24 points and Seth Berger added 20 to lead Ballard.

Michael Hwang scored 20 for Eastlake.

Newport 53, Inglemoor 37

Isaac Dotson scored a game-high 17 points for the Knights.

Kent-Meridian 72, Jefferson 52

Joshua Duckworth scored a game-high 19 points and Daniel Park added 18, but it wasn’t enough in Jefferson’s loss to Kent-Meridian.

Quin Briceno scored 16 for Kent-Meridian.

Rogers 55, Curtis 52

Derrick Jones led Rogers with 28 points in a win over Curtis.

Kentwood 87, Auburn 62

Jeremy Smith scored 22 points and Austin Weiher added 15 for Kentwood.

Mount Rainier 74, Tahoma 52

Adrian Davis scored a game-high 22 points to lead Mount Rainier.

Coleman Wooten finished with 18 points for Tahoma.

Jackson 75, Edmonds-Woodway 46

Jason Todd scored 17 and Dan Kingma added 12 for Jackson.

Snohomish 62, Lake Stevens 56

Luke Hamlin dropped in 25 points for Snohomish to knock off Lake Stevens.

Kevin Smith scored 21 points for the Vikings.

Decatur 84, Kentlake 80

Dom Hunter finished with 30 points, while Markus Rawls added 15 points for Decatur.

Jaron Heck scored 21 and Dedrian Miller finished with 20 for Kentlake.

Lake Washington 78, Juanita 39

Five players finished in double figures for Lake Washington, led by 16 from Darien Nelson-Henry.

Sammamish 72, Mercer Island 69

George Valle scored 32 points, while Dakota Olsen added 21 for Sammamish.

Four players scored in double figures for Mercer Island.

Bainbridge 71, Bishop Blanchet 56

Rico Failla scored a game-high 25 points for Bainbridge.

Chief Sealth 71, Nathan Hale 69 (OT)

Pepe Hernandez scored 26 points, helping the Seahawks beat Nathan Hale in overtime.

Julijs Pruzinskis scored 22 for Nathan Hale.

Eastside Catholic 61, Cleveland 50

Austin Soukup scored 25 and Mandrell Worthy added 21 for Eastside Catholic.

Franklin 77, Lakeside 70

Arell Hennings poured in 28 points and Patrick Bell had 24 to lead Franklin.

Tramaine Isabell had 26 for Lakeside, while Lewis Cramer added 20.

O’Dea 56, West Seattle 43

Sekou Wiggs scored 28 and Jalen Ward had 13 for O’Dea.

Glacier Peak 61, Meadowdale 47

Zach Pederson scored 22 points for Glacier Peak, while Ramsey Rosales had 18.

Shorecrest 68, Oak Harbor 51

Emmanuel Chibuogwu Jr. finished with a game-high 22.
