The K Kast: recruiting, Tony Wroten and the Seahawks

The wheels of the recruiting machine are spinning toward signing day and there are still a few big-time prizes in Washington still weighing their options.

This week, Puyallup lineman Joshua Garnett announced he has ruled out Washington, while Mariner running back KeiVarae Russell picked a date — Dec. 29 — to make his announcement. Then there’s Lakes lineman Zach Banner who is weighing Washington, USC and Oklahoma.

We talk about that group, as well as a few other recruits who are still making decisions and hoping for new offers.

After that, we transition into a conversation about Washington’s freshman point guard Tony Wroten. Click here for a column from earlier this week.

We wrap up this week’s show by spending some time on the development of the Seahawks and even break a little news when Steve Kelley announces that The Steve Kelley Show on 950 KJR has been taken off the air.

Happy holidays!
