Kelyn Rowe third pick of MLS draft

Former Federal Way soccer standout Kelyn Rowe was selected with the third overall pick in the Major League Soccer SuperDraft by the New England Revolution.

Rowe, the Class 4A state Player of the Year in 2010, went on to play at UCLA after he graduated and was the Pac-12 Player of the Year.

Chris Blais, a goalkeeper who played at Kennedy Catholic, was selected by the San Jose Earthquakes with the 33rd pick (second round).
