Wednesday evening recruiting notes

Lakes coach Dave Miller has become one of the busiest coaches in Washington, and it’s not even football season.

It seems like there’s a daily update coming out of the school in Lakewood. On Wednesday, Miller told our Husky reporter Bob Condotta that Cedric Dozier would make an official visit to Washington this weekend, now that the Huskies are looking at him as a receiver.

— This news has been out there, but Puyallup lineman Joshua Garnett will make his announcement at 3 p.m. Thursday at the high school.

— People have been asking about the future plans for some of Lake Stevens’ standouts and I was e-mailed an update. It sounds like Jake Nelson, Christian Gasca, Brady Pahukoa and Korey Young have all committed to Central Washington.

— Former Jackson running back Taylor Cox is heading to Kansas, according to this story. Cox had been playing at College of the Siskiyous. Click here.
