It was a great day for the boys teams that advanced to the regional round out of the Sea-King 3A District.
The top four seeds — No. 1 Seattle Prep, No. 3 Rainier Beach, No. 4 O’Dea and No. 9 Lake Washington — are all heading to Tacoma. Those programs make up four of the eight teams that are still alive.
The other four teams that advanced Friday were No. 2 Kamiakin, No. 5 Mountlake Terrace, No. 6 Kennedy Catholic and No. 8 University. State tournament matchups will be determined Sunday.
