Tuesday’s high-school softball highlights

Finally! Some softball games to blog about! Of course, several of those on our schedule for Tuesday apparently were snowed out.

A reminder to coaches — please make sure we have your complete schedule and roster (they can be e-mailed to sports@seattletimes.com).

Here are highlights from the games reported to The Times:

Marysville-Pilchuck 3, Shorewood 1

The Tomahawks, which placed second in last year’s 4A state tournament, pushed two runs across in the top of the seventh to win it. Monica Clow picked up the victory, striking out 12. Sydney Jarvis went 2-for-3 and scored once, while Abi Otto was 1-for-3 with two runs scored. Dani Norsby accounted for Shorewood’s lone run with a first-inning homer.

Inglemoor 14, Bellevue 7

Taylor Peacocke just missed hitting for the cycle, pounding a home run, double and single and driving in three runs. Izzy Riddle also homered and accounted for three RBI. Bella Montoya stroked three singles and scored three times, while Lindsey Potter went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI. Alyson Harrington picked up the victory on the mound. Bellevue got two hits apiece (and two runs scored) from Taylor Cooke and M. Melby (sorry, we don’t have a roster and only the first initial was reported; Taylor was on last year’s team, but I couldn’t find a M. Melby).

Redmond 15, Eastside Catholic 0 (5 innings)

Melissa White struck out seven in her three innings of no-hit work on the mound and got plenty of offensive support as the Mustangs rang up 16 hits. Ashley Mitchell was 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored, while Elaine Wang homered and singled, driving in three and scoring twice.

Snohomish 10, Marysville Getchell 0 (5 innings)

Bailey Seek tossed the no-hit shutout, fanning seven and walking five. Karissa Lampher and Kaitlyn Purvis both had two hits for the Panthers.

Mountlake Terrace 11, Kamiak 1 (5 innings)

Maddy Kristjanson went 3-for-4, while Rene Bos helped her own cause with a double and single. On the mound, Bos allowed just two hits, striking out six and walking two.

Everett 14, Cascade 4

No details reported.

Shorecrest 2, Lake Washington 0

No details reported.
