Tuesday’s high-school baseball highlights

Here is a look back at Tuesday’s high-school baseball action.

Kentlake 13, Auburn Riverside 8

Kentlake’s Ryan Shelton went 4 for 4 with a pair of RBI, while Jordan Cowan was 2 for 4 and scored a pair of runs.

Beamer 8, Federal Way 1

Sam Kosbab homered and Lawyer Braun doubled, scored twice and drove in two runs in Beamer’s win.

Puyallup 7, Bethel 1

Ryan Harris struck out 11, allowing a run on five hits over six inning, lifting top-ranked Puyallup over Bethel.

Tyler Devanney went 3 for 4 with 3 RBI, while Matt Becker was 3 for 3 with a pair of stolen bases and a run scored.

Kentwood 15, Kent-Meridian 1

Lucas Gately, Carson McCord and Reese McGuire all had two hits, homered and scored twice in Kentwood’s win.

McGuire drove in for runs, while Gately and McCord had three RBI apiece.

Kentridge 14, Tahoma 8

Joe Wainhouse went 3 for 3 with two homers and six RBI in Kentridge’s win over Tahoma.

Sheldon Stober also homered for the Bears, finishing with three runs and four RBI.

Graham-Kapowsin 6, Spanaway Lake 0

Drew Austin and Mikey Ramos homered in Graham-Kapowsin’s win over Spanaway Lake.

Ramos was 4 for 4 in the game.

Jackson 1, Cascade 0

Jackson’s Alex Kisena scattered four hits and struck out eight, tossing a complete-game shutout.

Issaquah 3, Liberty 1

Issaquah’s Justin Vernia allowed a run on three hits and struck out eight during a complete-game victory over Liberty.

Patriots’ starter Ben Wessel also pitched well, striking out 10 over five innings.

Lake Washington 9, Curtis 1

Lake Washington’s Zach Johnson homered, doubled and scored twice in a win over Curtis.

Nick Johnson scattered eight hits and allowed one run over six innings to pick up the win.

Bishop Blanchet 11, Franklin 0

Bishop Blanchet’s Peter Johnson went 2 for 3 with a double and three RBI in a win over Franklin.

Seattle Prep 7, West Seattle 4

Nick Pribble homered and Stuart Fairchild went 4 for 5 with three RBI, leading Seattle Prep past West Seattle.

Eastside Catholic 18, Ingraham 1

Ryan Pollock went 2 for 3 with three RBI and Luke Shepherd was 2 for 2 with a double, two RBI and a pair of runs scored for Eastside Catholic.

Decatur 11, Lakes 2

Brett Johnson and Brandon Zimmerman doubled and drove in three runs to lead Decatur.

Meadowdale 9, Glacier Peak 7

Meadowdale’s Matt Hirsch went 3 for 4 with two triples and a double in a win over Glacier Peak.

Seattle Lutheran 4, Tacoma Baptist 1

Nick Savas tripled and drove in a run, while Bryce Morgan doubled and had an RBI in Seattle Lutheran’s win over Tacoma Baptist.
