Wednesday’s high-school baseball highlights

Here is a look back at Wednesday’s high-school baseball highlights.

Auburn 10, Tahoma 3

Jakob Sloan went 2 for 2 with three RBI, while Josh McCoy also had two hits and drove in a pair to lead Auburn past Tahoma.

Sloan also tossed three scoreless innings.

Emerald Ridge 5, Beamer 2

Emerald Ridge’s Kort Skoda allowed one earned run on four hits, striking out nine during a complete-game win over Beamer.

Garrett Metz went 3 for 3 with two RBI and a run scored.

Federal Way 13, Spanaway Lake 1

Federal Way’s Evan Elliot allowed one run on two hits and struck out seven over five innings to lead the Eagles past Spanaway Lake.

Snohomish 10, Arlington 0

Russell Crippen scattered three hits and struck out nine, tossing a complete-game shutout against Arlington.

Crippen also went 3 for 4 with a home run for the Panthers.

Cascade 10, Mariner 4

Taylor Marquardt tripled and drove in two runs in Cascade’s win.

Edmonds-Woodway 6, Jackson 5

Alex Hull went 3 for 4 with a double and two RBI for Edmonds-Woodway.

Alex Baumgartner doubled twice for Jackson.

Lake Stevens 9, Monroe 0

Anthony Blackie struck out eight and allowed one hit over six innings in Lake Stevens’ win over Monroe.

Brandon Kelliher went 3 for 4 with three RBI for the Vikings.

Bishop Blanchet 13, O’Dea 3

Blanchet’s Nate Backes went 3 for 4 with a home run and four RBI in the Braves’ win over O’Dea.

Josh LaRussa doubled twice and had four RBI for Blanchet.

Seattle Prep 18, Lakeside 6

Stuart Fairchild doubled and drove in four runs for Seattle Prep.

Chief Sealth 12, West Seattle 0

Nic Layton allowed two hits and struck out seven during a complete-game shutout against West Seattle.

Izac Bauer and Aiden Behar had three RBI apiece in the win.

Bonney Lake 2, Enumclaw 1

Dylan Moran went 3 for 4 with a pair of doubles as Bonney Lake knocked off Enumclaw.

Meadowdale 4, Mountlake Terrace 1

Meadowdale’s Bill Sullivan allowed one run (unearned) on four hits and struck out six during a complete-game win over Mountlake Terrace.

Archbishop Murphy 11, South Whidbey 2

Zander Clouse struckout nine over four innings for Archbishop Murphy.

Seattle Lutheran 11, Bellevue Christian 0

Seattle Lutheran’s Raymond Shepard went 2 for 3 with two RBI and two runs scored in a win over Bellevue Christian.
