Wednesday’s high-school softball highlights

Here are some highlights from the Wednesday high-school softball games reported to The Times:

Kentwood 6, Mount Rainier 1

Bailey Marshall was 3-for-3 with a double and two RBI and Allison Newcome also had a doulbe and two RBI for the Conquerors. Sonny Dorhoefer doubled for MR.

Lake Washington 11, Liberty 6

Audrey Sundene smacked a pair of home runs, driving in five runs, while Whitney Dunlap had a pair of doubles with two RBI and two runs scored.

Holy Names 13, Eastside Catholic 1 (5 innings)

The Cougars, ranked No. 10 in 3A, got three hits from Cara Lohman and two from Kelsy Lunasco, each with a double. Kaitlin Cappetto struck out six and allowed just one hit.

Bishop Blanchet 6, Seattle Prep 2

Samantha Shanahan earned the victory on the mound and helped herself by going 3-for-4 with two doubles. Maria Biondi was 2-for-3. Abby Rockwell had two of Prep’s six hits.

Nathan Hale 12, West Seattle 5

The Raiders’ 20-hit attack was keyed by Mariah Jameyson (5-for-5, triple, four RBI, three runs), Brianna Turnbough (4-for-4, home run, two triples) and Natalie Smith (3-for-4, three runs). Rosie Patnode struck out nine in five innings of work. For West Seattle, Toni Spadoni went 2-for-4 with a triple and three RBI.

Chief Sealth 19, Ingraham 2 (5 innings)

Chloe Behar led the way, going 5-for-5 with three doubles, a triple, three RBI and two runs scored.

Kennedy Catholic 7, Lindbergh 1

Miranda Goff (4-for-5) and Natalie Budner (3-for-4) keyed the offense while Kate Lewis struck out 14 and scattered four hits, two by Paula Farrell.

Highline 15, Tyee 0 (4 innings)

Nicole Jacobson homered and doubled, while Micky Haury had a triple and single.

Bonney Lake 2, Peninsula 1

The Panthers won despite being outhit 11-3, thanks in part to an RBI double by Kali Patterson. Anne Binschus went 3-for-3 for the Seahawks, who also got two hits from Alaina Morgan. Aspen Ison was the hard-luck loser, striking out seven.

Auburn Mountainview 5, Lakes 4

Delene Colburn fanned 10 and went 3-for-3 at the plate, scoring twice. Alicia Zabriskie drove in two runs. Lizzey Badger had two of the Lancers’ four hits, collecting three RBI.

Enumclaw 20, Decatur 3 (5 innings)

The Hornets got two hits apiece from Kailey Wallin (triple, double), Josie Wicks (two RBI) and winning pitcher Chloe Young (three RBI).

Shorecrest 7, Shorewood 2

Anisa Gomez was a triple away from hitting for the cycle, going 4-for-4 with two RBI. Callie Anersen was 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored. Ashley Swan drove in Shorewood’s two runs.

Cedarcrest 7, South Whidbey 3

Maddy Harris was 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBI for the Red Wolves. Brittany Wood had a double and single for South Whidbey.

Franklin Pierce 3, Eatonville 0

Kelly Crawford fanned 16 in tossing the no-hit shutout and went 2-for-3 at the plate.
