Terry Johnson has resigned as girls basketball coach at Auburn Riverside.

AUBURN, Wash. (April 11, 2012) – After a very successful three year run Terry Johnson has decided to step down as Auburn Riverside’s head girls basketball coach. The athletic department at Auburn Riverside will begin the search for a new coach immediately.
Highlights of Coach Johnson’s three years as head coach include; two SPSL division titles, one WCD title and an undefeated season resulting in a state title. The Ravens overall record during his tenure is 69 wins and 11 losses. This year Auburn Riverside was knocked out of the district tournament by the eventual state champions. Coach Johnson was named the SPSL North Division Coach of the Year in 2009. Recently, the Ravens have graduated a number of players who have gone on to play basketball at the collegiate level, many in Division 1.
“Terry Johnson has had a great impact on our athletes and been valuable piece of our athletic program. He will be sorely missed by all of us who have had a chance to work with him,” ARHS Athletic Director Doug Aubert said. Johnson will remain as a teacher at the school.
