Tuesday’s high-school baseball highlights

Here is a look back at the high-school baseball highlights from Tuesday:

Auburn Riverside 14, Mount Rainier 4

Auburn Riverside’s Nick Minteer went 3 for 5 with six RBI and a double, while Tyler Sherwin doubled, drove in three runs and scored twice in a win over Mount Rainier.

Puyallup 13, Beamer 1

Matt Becker went 2 for 3 with two runs scored and an RBI. He also picked up the win, leading Puyallup past Beamer.

Emerald Ridge 2, Curtis 0

Emerald Ridge’s Kort Skoda struck out 14, tossing a complete-game, four-hit shutout in a win over Curtis.

Skoda also doubled and drove in a pair.

Tahoma 13, Kent-Meridian 5

Kent-Meridian’s Kyle Engman homered twice, but it wasn’t enough against Tahoma.

Kentwood 4, Kentridge 2

Kentwood’s Skyler Genger went 4 for 4 and tossed a complete game in a win over Kentridge.

Rogers 11, Spanaway Lake 4

Rogers’ Stefan Van Horn homered and Michael Sexton doubled twice and drove in a pair in a win over Spanaway Lake.

Joe Martin homered in the loss.

Kentlake 14, Jefferson 4

Kentlake’s Morgan Jones went 3 for 4 with three RBI in a win over Jefferson.

Lake Stevens 4, Arlington 2

Jake Nelson homered to lead Lake Stevens past Arlington.

Edmonds-Woodway 4, Kamiak 3

Edmonds-Woodway’s Alex Hull finished 2 for 3 with three RBI.

Marysville-Pilchuck 10, Snohomish 0

Cody Anderson scattered seven hits, picking up the win in Marysville-Pilchuck’s 10-0 win over Snohomish.

Joe Morgan went 2for 3 with three RBI and a run scored and Brandon Moser finished 2 for 2 with a pair of RBI and three runs scored.

Auburn Mountainview 9, Bonney Lake 5

Auburn Mountainview’s Anthony Thomas went 2 for 4 with a double and three RBI.

Decatur 4, Lakes 3

Decatur’s Janson Junk allowed two runs on six hits and struck out nine over six innings of work to pick up a win against Lakes.

Mountlake Terrace 17, Marysville Getchell 5

Forrest Hussey and Jason Shevenko tripled and drove in two runs in Mountlake Terrace’s win.

Shorecrest 2, Lynnwood 0

Hayden McNabb homered and stole a base, helping Shorecrest beat Lynnwood.

Ted Hammond struck out eight during a complete-game shutout.
