Wednesday’s high-school baseball highlights

Here is a look back at Tuesday’s high-school baseball highlights:

Bothell 6, Issaquah 1

Jake Storer doubled and scored twice, while Rex Carlin doubled and scored a run in Bothell’s win over Issaquah.

Skyline 2, Garfield 1

Skyline’s Clayton Huber allowed a run on six hits and struck out six over 6 2/3 innings to lead the Spartans past Garfield.

He helped his cause at the plate, going 2 for 3 with an RBI.

Redmond 5, Roosevelt 1

Redmond’s Steven Danek homered, stole a base and drove in two, while Peter Hendron struck out eight during a complete-game, one-hit shutout against Roosevelt.

Auburn Riverside 15, Jefferson 14

Christopher Minteer tripled and drove in three runs, helping Auburn Riverside edge Jefferson.

Bellevue 10, Juanita 0

Connor Foreman, who just signed to play college baseball at Rhode Island, and Jack Meggs had two RBI apiece in Bellevue’s win over Juanita.

Highline 13, Foster 0

Johnny Rhodes homered and drove in a pair for Highline.

Tyee 7, Evergreen 4

Nate Owen went 3 for 3 with three RBI and a run scored — he also picked up the win on the mount — in Tyee’s win over Evergreen.

Lake Washington 11, Interlake 5

Victor Mayorqui homered and drove in four runs — hard to tell if it was a grand slam by looking at the box scored — while Zach Johnson went 2 for 4 with two RBI to lead Lake Washington.
