Monday’s high-school baseball highlights

Here is a look back at Monday’s high-school baseball highlights:

Federal Way 8, Spanaway Lake 2

Federal Way’s Derek Klaas allowed two runs during a complete-game, one-hitter against Spanaway Lake.

Zach Hobbs finished 2 for 3 with an RBI and three runs scored for the Eagles.

Roosevelt 16, Franklin 6

Zach Naon went 2 for 4 with a triple, four RBI and three runs scored in Roosevelt’s win over Franklin.

Liberty 12, Juanita 8

Juanita’s Conner Rusch drove in five runs, but it wasn’t enough against Liberty.

Mount Si 7, Interlake 2

Mount Si ace Reece Karalus helped get the top-ranked Wildcats back on track, allowing just one hit over six innings in a win against Liberty. He struck out 11.

Bellevue 6, Lake Washington 5

Reid Hartmann drove in three runs and Jack Carlson and Jack Perkins had two hits apiece, helping Bellevue knock off No. 7 Lake Washington.

O’Dea 2, Bishop Blanchet 0

O’Dea’s Tony Davila scattered three hits during a complete-game shutout against Bishop Blanchet.

Seattle Prep 6, Eastside Catholic 0

Nelson Taylor went 3 for 4 with a double and two RBI to help third-ranked Seattle Prep remain undefeated.

Lindbergh 16, Evergreen 3

Craig Yamaguchi went 2 for 3 with two RBI and three runs scored, while Ryan White went 2 for 2 with two RBI and two runs scored in Lindbergh’s win over Evergreen.

Bonney Lake 9, Lakes 0

Bonney Lake starter Mike Gould tossed a two-hit shutout against Lakes. He struck out six.

Joey Gamache went 3 for 5 with a double, RBI and a run scored.
