Tuesday’s high-school baseball highlights

Here is a look back at Tuesday’s high-school baseball highlights:

Woodinville 3, Issaquah 1

Woodinville’s Marty Luckenbach allowed one unearned run while tossing a no-hitter in the Falcons’ win over Issaquah.

Luckenbach struck out eight. Caleb Hamilton went 2 for 4 with a double, an RBI and he scored a run.

Skyline 6, Bothell 4

Skyline’s Matt Sinatro went 3 for 4 with a pair of doubles and three RBI in a come-from-behind win over Bothell.

Spartans starter Matt Lunde struck out 11 and only allowed one earned run during a complete-game performance. Zach Anderson hit a solo home run for the Cougars in the loss.

Garfield 7, Eastlake 3

Hayes Gorecki went 2 for 4 with three RBI and a run scored in Garfield’s win. John Trupin had a pair of doubles, an RBI and scored once.

Newport 2, Roosevelt 1

Billy Sahlinger had a big day for Newport. He picked up the win on the mound, allowing one unearned run on three hits. He struck out five. At the plate he went 2 for 3 with a solo home run and two runs scored.

Redmond 4, Inglemoor 3

Brent Firth homered and Brandon Burditt went 2 for 2 with two runs scored, helping Redmond edge Inglemoor.

Kentlake 6, Auburn 1

Kentlake starter Dylan Wright struck out nine during a complete-game, two-hitter against Auburn. The Trojans’ one run was unearned.

Puyallup 19, Federal Way 0

Puyallup’s Evan Peterson fell a triple shy of the cycle, going 3 for 4 with three RBI, while Quinn Rawson went 3 for 3 with a home run four RBI and a run scored.

Kentridge 13, Kent-Meridian 3

Connor Bennett went 3 for 3 with three RBI and two runs scored for Kentridge. Joe Wainhouse also went 3 for 3 with two RBI and a run scored.

Kentwood 5, Tahoma 1

Skyler Genger finished 3 for 4 with a solo home run, helping top-ranked Kentwood knock off Tahoma.

Jackson 11, Cascade 0

Jackson’s Sam Brown went 3 for 4 with a double and four RBI in a win over Cascade.

Lake Stevens 14, Marysville-Pilchuck 7

Three straight games against Marysville-Pilchuck. Three close wins for Lake Stevens.

Anthony Blackie went 4 for 4 with four RBI, while Christian Shouman added a home run for the Vikings.

Brandon Dormaier hit a grand slam and had five RBI for the Tomahawks.

Snohomish 8, Stanwood 6

Snohomish’s Russell Crippen hit a grand slam and drove in five runs in a win over Stanwood.

Mercer Island 3, Sammamish 0

Isaac Morris went 2 for 2 with an RBI in Mercer Island’s win over Sammamish.

Seattle Christian 17, Tyee 3

Shawn Abe doubled, tripled, drove in four runs and scored three times to lead Seattle Christian. Ryan Johnson doubled, drove in three runs and scored once.

Shorecrest 4, Glacier Peak 0

Shorecrest starter Ted Hammond struck out 11 during a complete-game, four-hitter against Glacier Peak.
