Wednesday’s high-school baseball highlights

Here is a look back at Wednesday’s high-school baseball highlights:

Kentridge 4, Kentlake 3

Sheldon Stober and Joe Wainhouse homered and had two hits apiece in Kentridge’s win over Kentlake.

Morgan Jones went 3 for 3 with an RBI in the loss.

Mount Rainier 8, Kent-Meridian 3

Mount Rainier’s Jon Culver fell a double shy of the cycle, going 3 for 4 with five RBI.

Allan May also homered for the Rams.

Puyallup 10, Curtis 4

Brendan Illies went 3 for 4 with a double and two RBI, while Quinn Rawson finished 2 for 3 with three RBI in Puyallup’s win.

Beamer 14, Spanaway Lake 2

Ben Arata stole three bases, scored four runs, smacked a double and drove in a run, doing a little bit of everything to lead Beamer.

Tahoma 8, Jefferson 6

Anthony Tanner and Troy LaBrie smacked home runs to lead Tahoma.

Steven Sonnenfield homered in the loss for Jefferson.

Marysville-Pilchuck 19, Arlington 0

John Naff went 4 for 5 with four doubles, helping Marysville-Pilchuck get back on track.

Cascade 4, Jackson 3

Patrick Chung went 2 for 3 with an RBI and two runs scored, helping Cascade edge Jackson.

Snohomish 10, Monroe 0

Russell Crippen struck out 11 to pick up the win and went 3 for 3 with a double to lead Snohomish.

Mitchell McCulley went 4 for 4 for the Panthers.

Stanwood 3, Lake Stevens 2

No details on the game were reported to us, but Stanwood handed second-ranked Lake Stevens its first loss of the season.

Bellevue 2, Mount Si 1

Nolan Watson allowed just one unearned run on two hits, tossing a complete game and helping Bellevue knock off top-ranked Mount Si.

Liberty 12, Interlake 3

Liberty’s Loren Archibald homered and doubled in a win over Interlake.

Lake Washington 9, Sammamish 5

Nick Johnson drove in three runs, while Robert Hill allowed a run on four hits over five innings to lead Lake Washington.

Bishop Blanchet 3, Lakeside 1

Bishop Blanchet’s Max Schwabe scattered seven hits over seven innings and allowed just one run, helping the Braves beat Lakeside.

O’Dea 8, Bainbridge 2

Dylan Wade struck out seven and scattered five hits over six scoreless innings in O’Dea’s win over Bainbridge.

Kennedy Catholic 14, Foster 0

Kennedy Catholic’s Anthony McCluskey went 2 for 3 with an RBI and three runs scored.

Meadowdale 10, Marysville Getchell 0

Meadowdale starter Sam Herzer allowed just three hits over six scoreless innings. he struck out five.

Mountlake Terrace 4, Shorewood 3

Alex Hatch struck out seven over six scoreless innings and Dominic DeMiero went 3 for 3 with a double and an RBI to lead Mountlake Terrace.

Glacier Peak 5, Shorecrest 3

Keenan Miller went 3 for 3 with a double, a stolen base and a run scored, helping Glacier Peak knock off Shorecrest.

Ted Hammond finished 3 for 4 with a home runs, two RBI and a stolen base for Shorecrest.
