K Kast: The NFL through the eyes of Joe Tafoya and Kerry Carter

Sometimes listening to stories is as rewarding as telling them. On Wednesday afternoon, former Seahawks Kerry Carter and Joe Tafoya provided a special look at life inside the NFL.

The two former NFL players are now working on a project called Jump It Media — click here for Steve Kelley’s column on the venture — and, inside their Kirkland offices, they talked about everything from bounties, to preparing for the draft and future of the game.

They shared stories that can only be told from a player’s perspective and, after listening for an hour, we headed back to Seattle wanting to hear more.

At the end of the show, we spent some time talking about the way athletes use social media and Jump It Media’s role in helping players engage their fans.

We hope you enjoy this week’s episode.
