Tuesday’s high-school baseball highlights

Here is a look back at Tuesday’s high-school baseball highlights:

Bethel 7, Spanaway Lake 0

Bethel’s Cory Nelson pitched a perfect game, striking out 14 during a win over Spanaway Lake.

Ryan Smolko went 2 for 2 with a pair of stolen bases and two RBI for the Braves.

Curtis 2, Graham-Kapowsin 1 (9 inn.)

Curtis’ Anthony Frigerio allowed just one unearned run on two hits and struck out nine, tossing a nine-inning shutout against Graham-Kapowsin.

Emerald Ridge 7, Federal Way 2

Kort Skoda went 2 for 4 with two doubles and three RBI to lead Emerald Ridge.

Jefferson 5, Auburn 0

Jefferson’s Hunter Henry went 3 for 3 with an RBI and two runs scored in a win over Auburn.

Kentridge 13, Mount Rainier 3

Joe Wainhouse finished 4 for 4 with two RBI and Taylor Tinney scored three runs to lead Kentridge past Mount Rainier.

Kentwood 6, Kentlake 5

Reese McGuire continues to play well for top-ranked Kentwood, going 3 for 5 with a home run and three RBI. Cash McGuire went 3 for 5 with a triple and two runs scored.

Puyallup 7, Rogers 0

Matt Becker allowed just a pair of hits and struck out eight, pitching a complete-game shutout against Rogers.

Tahoma 5, Auburn Riverside 2

Tahoma’s Connor Cloyd went 3 for 4 with a home run and a double in a win over Auburn Riverside.

Cascade 8, Mariner 4

K.J. Brady went 2 for 4 with two RBI and two runs scored, while Patrick Chung had three hits and scored twice to lead Cascade.

Jackson 7, Edmonds-Woodway 1

Alec Kisena stuck out 10 during a complete-game victory over Edmonds-Woodway.

Mount Si 11, Mercer Island 0

Trevor Lane homered and drove in six runs, while Trevor Taylor allowed three hits and struck out seven over six innings to lead Mount Si.

Chief Sealth 5, Bainbridge 3

Chief Sealth’s C.J. Hicks fell a home run shy of the cycle, drove in a run and scored twice during a win over Bainbridge.

Seahawks pitcher Kyle Castillo struck out nine.

Eastside Catholic 13, Franklin 1

Eastside Catholic’s Braden Wolgamott went 3 for 4 with a home run, three RBI and three runs scored to lead the Crusaders past Franklin.

Lakeside 15, Ingraham 6

Lakeside’s Trevor Langlie and Andrew Summerville went 3 for 4 with two RBI.

Nathan Hale 5, O’Dea 3

Dallas Quick doubled and drove in three runs, helping Nathan Hale knock off O’Dea.

Enumclaw 7, Decatur 2

Enumclaw’s Tyler Carlson went 2 for 3 with a home run, double, three RBI and two runs scored in a win over Decatur.

Meadowdale 21, Oak Harbor 13

Chris Osborne homered, drove in four runs and scored four times to lead Meadowdale.

Shorecrest 8, Marysville Getchell 1

Neil Baldwin went 3 for 4 with a double, three RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base in Shorecrest’s win.
