Wednesday’s high-school baseball highlights

Here is a look back at Wednesday’s high-school baseball highlights:

Ballard 7, Roosevelt 6

Ben Welch had two hits and three RBI and Rory Graf-Brennen went 3 for 3 in Ballard’s win over Roosevelt.

Woodinville 6, Garfield 2

Woodinville’s T.C. Florentine doubled and drove in a run against Garfield.

Beamer 10, Emerald Ridge 2

Kepa Sharpe doubled twice and drove in a pair, while Daniel Lee went 2 for 3 with two RBI and a three runs scored in Beamer’s win.

Mount Si 4, Liberty 2

Nick Short homered for Liberty, but it wasn’t enough against Mount Si.

Bellevue 6, Sammamish 0

Bellevue’s Nolan Watson struck out seven to pick up the win, while Connor Foreman went 2 for 2 with three RBI to lead the Wolverines past Sammamish.

Bishop Blanchet 8, Eastside Catholic 3

Hayden Meier and Braden Wolgamott homered for Eastside Catholic, but Bishop Blanchet knocked off the Crusaders.

Ray Siderius doubled and drove in a pair for the Braves.

But the hero of the game was Blanchet’s Eric Kimpton, who hit a three-run homer that sparked an eight-run rally in the fourth inning.

Hazen 17, Foster 0

Hazen’s Jake Kolterman struck out 12 over five innings to pick up the win and doubled, homered and drove in two at the plate.

Cody Moorehead also had a good game for Hazen, going 3 for 4 with a double and four RBI.

Mountlake Terrace 6, Shorecrest 3

Quintin Barnard homered and Alex Hatch doubled twice in Mountlake Terrace’s win over Shorecrest.

Hatch also struck out eight over six innings, allowing three runs (two earned) on four hits.
