Thursday’s high-school boys soccer highlights

Here is a look back at Thursday’s high-school boys soccer highlights:

Jefferson 4, Kent-Meridian 1

Jefferson’s Jacob Thoreson scored twice and Louis Alvaro Osornio added a goal and an assist.

Kentridge 2, Mount Rainier 0

Jens Brink recorded the shutout in Kentridge’s win over Mount Rainier.

Puyallup 1, Beamer 0

Puyallup’s Brett Bertrand scored the game’s only goal in the 53rd minute, while T.J. Josephson kept Beamer off the board.

Federal Way 3, Emerald Ridge 1

Sean Rigney finished with two goals and an assist, while Alex Lewis added a goal and an assist in Federal Way’s win.

Kentwood 1, Auburn Riverside 1

Auburn Riverside’s Mark Kavanaugh scored in the 15th minute, helping to preserve a tie against Kentwood.

Snohomish 8, Stanwood 1

Snohomish’s Juan Machuca-Garin had three assists, while Wesley Stark added two goals and an assist in a win over Stanwood.

Kamiak 5, Edmonds-Woodway 0

Will Choi scored goals in the 14th and 52nd minutes of Kamiak’s win. Peyton Slimp finished with two assists.

Lakeside 2, O’Dea 0

Seyi Adekoya finished with a goal and an assist to lead Lakeside. Daly Seaton recorded the shutout.

Nathan Hale 2, Franklin 0

Mohamed Fofana had a hand in both Nathan Hale goals, scoring once and adding an assist. Tenzin Choeying recorded the shutout.

Bainbridge 3, Eastside Catholic 0

Connor Winship scored in the 20th and 24th minutes to boost Bainbridge.

Peninsula 1, Bonney Lake 0

George Rowher scored the game’s only goal in the third minute of Peninsula’s win.

Glacier Peak 4, Mountlake Terrace 0

Branson Corwin scored twice and Jesus Mendoza recorded the shutout to lead Glacier Peak.

Bishop Blanchet 4, Highline 1

Alex Bates and Andy Newman had a goal and an assist or Bishop Blanchet.
