Wednesday’s high-school baseball highlights

Here is a look back at Wednesday’s high-school baseball highlights:

Arlington 6, Stanwood 5

Arlington 4, Stanwood 1

Arlington’s Colton Hordyk went 2 for 3 in Game 1 and homered in Game 2, helping the Eagles sweep Stanwood in a doubleheader.

Mount Si 4, Interlake 2

Mount Si starter Trevor Lane struck out 17 over 6 1/3 innings including a stretch of 10 straight, leading the Wildcats past Interlake.

Reece Karalus went 2 for 3 with a double, two RBI and a run scored for Mount Si.

Sammamish 9, Mercer Island 6

Tyler Hormel went 2 for 3 with a triple and three RBI, while Tristan Cates finished 3 for 4 in Sammamish’s win over Mercer Island.

Seattle Prep 10, Bainbridge 4

Stuart Fairchild went 3 for 4 with a double and three RBI to lead Seattle Prep.

Ingraham 6, Franklin 5

Trevor Fay finished with two hits and drove in a pair, while Bryce Wilson added two hits and an RBI in Ingraham’s win.

Elijah Brown went 3 for 3 with an RBI for Franklin.

Overlake/Bear Creek 4, University Prep 3

Jackson Umberger drove in two runs, leading Overlake/Bear Creek past University Prep.
