Thursday’s high-school softball highlights

Thanks to the weather (again), there were only a few softball games played in the area Thursday. Here are highlights from the four reported to The Times:

Kamiak 11, Edmonds-Woodway 1 (5 innings)

Kristyna Phan went 4-for-5 with two triples and scored three times to key the victory. Angie McFall added a double and single and also earned the victory, striking out eight.

Curtis 14, Graham-Kapowsin 4 (5 innings)

Janay Hull had two hits for the Vikings and Alyssa Hendrickson punched a pair for G-K.

Lake Washington 17, Sammamish 3 (5 innings)

The Kangs got home runs from Whitney Dunlap (3-for-4, six RBI, three runs), Jenny Hill (3-for-3, four RBI, three runs) and winning pitcher Audrey Sundene (2-for-3), who struck out eight. Kasey Hormel homered twice for the Totems.

Auburn Mountainview 21, Decatur 2 (5 innings)

Quierra Bradford went 2-for-2 with a home run, driving in three and scoring three times, while Amanda Colella finished 2-for-3 with three RBI and four runs scored. Callie Kirk doubled, driving in three. Delene Colburn struck out 11. Jenny Fager had two of Decatur’s five hits.
