Wednesday’s high-school baseball highlights

Here is a look back at Wednesday’s high-school baseball action:

Eastside Catholic earned a trip to the Class 3A state tournament in dramatic fashion, while Bishop Blanchet pulled of a huge upset to punch its ticket. Click here for the story.

Northwest 3A District Tournament

Glacier Peak 4, Meadowdale 3

Tanner Braun drove in a pair of runs, helping Glacier Peak knock off Meadowdale.

West Central 2A District Tournament

Interlake 2, Port Angeles 1

Interlake’s Austin Strother struck out 10 over five shutout innings, allowing just two hits in the Saints’ win over Port Angeles.

West Central/Southwest 4A Bi-District Tournament

Kentridge 6, South Kitsap 3

Joe Wainhouse homered and Nicholas Hamre picked up the win, giving up three hits over four scoreless innings to lead Kentridge.
