Thursday’s high-school baseball highlights

Here is a look at Thursday’s high-school baseball highlights:

Redmond won the KingCo 4A title and Ballard kept its season alive. Click here for the story.

KingCo 3A Tournament

Lake Washington 6, Bellevue 3

Steve Semler went 2 for 2 with a double and three RBI, while Jeremy Parkhurst scored three runs, helping Lake Washington secure a spot on the KingCo 3A title game.

Zach Johnson allowed three runs (one earned) on six hits during a complete-game victory.

Bellevue’s Reid Hartmann went 2 for 4 with a double and two RBI.

Mount Si 6, Liberty 1

Reece Karalus struck out nine, allowing one run during a complete-game one-hitter, leading Mount Si past Liberty and into the KingCo 3A title game.

Karalus also went 2 for 4 with a pair of doubles, while Joseph Cotto doubled twice, had an RBI and scored twice.

Metro League Tournament

Chief Sealth 3, Ingraham 2

Nick Layton struck out seven and Maximus Sarver drove in a run and scored once to keep Chief Sealth’s season alive.

Northwest 4A District Tournament

Jackson 4, Snohomish 3

Jackson’s Alec Kisena struck out seven, helping the Timberwolves advance to a play-in game against Ballard at 4 p.m. Monday at Everett Memorial Stadium.

Lake Stevens 5, Edmonds-Woodway 4

Jake Nelson struck out six over five innings, leading Lake Stevens to the Northwest 4A District Tournament title.
