Skyline, Bellevue ranked in MaxPreps regional top 10

For the first time, MaxPreps is unveiling regional rankings to go along with the site’s state and national rankings this season. In the Far West region, Skyline (1-0) is ranked seventh, one spot ahead of Bellevue (1-0).

Below are the rankings as well as a comment from MaxPreps about the Far West region.

Far West:

1, Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.), 2-0, 83.6

2, De La Salle (Concord, Calif.), 1-0, 75.5

3, Narbonne (Harbor City, Calif.), 1-0, 73.8

4, Oaks Christian (Westlake Village, Calif.), 2-0, 72.2

5, Vista Murrieta (Murrieta, Calif.), 1-0, 70.7

6, Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, Nev.), 2-0, 70.3

7, Skyline (Sammamish, Wash.), 1-0, 67.7

8, Bellevue (Wash.), 1-0, 67.7

9, Westlake (Westlake Village, Calif.), 2-0, 64.3

10, Serra (Gardena, Calif.), 2-0, 63.3

Notes: An impressive season-opening win over Bellarmine boosted De La Salle from No. 6 to No. 2. Meanwhile Bishop Gorman dropped from the third spot down to No. 6 after a 52-40 win over St. Louis (Honolulu, Hawaii). Bellevue also moved up from No. 10 to No. 8 with its win over Trinity (Euless, Texas). Rancho Cucamonga dropped out and was replaced by Serra (Gardena, Calif.)
