Juanita hires Sloan Strohl as new boys’ basketball coach

Juanita announced Sloan Strohl as the new boys’ basketball head coach on Friday. Strohl served as the head coach at Mount Si, but, according to a Times article in October 2007, he resigned because he and his wife were expecting a child in March.

According to Juanita, Strohl also spent time at Bellevue High, with AAU programs and at various camps through the Detlef Schrempf Foundation.

I will update with information as I’m able to. Here’s the full press release for now:

Juanita High School is proud to announce Sloan Strohl as head coach of its boys basketball program. Sloan’s 17 years of coaching experience has been at all levels from AAU, Varsity Assistant and JV coach at Bellevue High, Head Coach at Mt. Si, and with the former Sonic Special Assignments coach. He has also coached camps around the world with the Detlef Schrempf Foundation. Juanita is looking forward to having Sloan as its coach.
