Some high-school volleyball highlights from Monday

Bainbridge, new to the Class 3A state volleyball rankings this week at No. 4, didn’t disappoint Monday night against a tough Lakeside team. Here are highlights from that match, and others reported to The Times:

Bainbridge 3, Lakeside 1

Lauren Sheehan smacked 15 kills and added 12 digs to lead the way. Tess Haskin contributed 9 kills and 4 blocks, while Maggie Haskin had 36 kills and 10 digs. Emma Burgess dug up 20 balls. For Lakeside, Kaylee Best supplied 10 kills and 3 aces and Devin Callahan put together 36 assists and 8 kills.

Seattle Prep 3, Eastside Catholic 1

The No. 5 Panthers got key performances from Maddie Holman (15 kills, 13 digs), Maddi Burnett (12 kills), Phylly Knight (10 kills), Kate Bubar (40 assists, 21 digs, 3 blocks) and Ari Mosca (22 digs). For No. 7 Eastside, Kat Towslee piled up 23 kills and 10 digs, while Hannah Christie chipped in 35 assists, 7 kills and 13 digs. The defense was also buoyed by Maddy Binz (20 digs) and Anna Schutt (19).

Holy Names 3, Bishop Blanchet 0

The Cougars, who were No. 1 in 3A before losing three in a row last week, were sparked by Courtney Pharr (6 kills, 14 digs) and Maddie Koh (26 assists, 10 digs). The Blanchet leaders were Allyson Ahern (13 assists) and Sophie Beckley (14 digs).

West Seattle 3, Cleveland 0

Eastyn Baleto bashed 12 kills and served up 4 aces to set the pace. Maddie Collins finished with 30 assists and Aspen Knowles had 14 digs.

Ingraham 3, Chief Sealth 2

Sabrene Odeh led a balanced Ingraham offense with 10 kills with Kami Jordan added 8 kills and 5 blocks. Tran Huynh contributed 17 assists, while Vi Huynh served up 7 aces to go with 13 digs. For Sealth, Katherine Kirk had an impressive all-around match with 16 kills, 5 blocks, 6 aces and 10 digs.

Franklin 3, Rainier Beach 0

Newport 3, Kentwood 0

The Knights, ranked No. 5 in 4A, were led by Anna Crabtree (10 kills), Casey Schoenlein (7 kills, 3 aces), Emmy Freed (19 assists) and Kristina Mills (11 digs). Sarah Toeaina had 10 kills for Kentwood.

Skyline 3, Ingelmoor 0

Skyline’s kill parade was led by Halle Erdahl (11), Cyrstal Anderson (9) and Molly Mounsey (9, plus 3 blocks). Katy Velencia provided 18 assists and Emily Harris had 5 aces.

Garfield 3, Woodinville 1

Sophia Black was key on offense (11 kills) and defense (22 digs) and the Bulldogs also got noteworthy efforts from Olivia deVesci (24 assists) and Bekah Louie (26 digs).

Issaquah 3, Bothell 0

The Eagles were sparked by Lauren Alberg (11 kills, 3 aces), Leanne Scott (10 kills, 5 aces), Rachel Baker (18 assists), McKenzie Bostic (13 assists) and Lindsey Ferguson (13 digs). Bothell’s top efforts came from Emma Salud (10 kills), Lexie Bedell (8 kills, 3 aces), Molly Rigden (18 assists) and Theresa Laufasa (15 digs).

Eastlake 3, Ballard 0

Anna Gorman paired 14 kills with 3 aces to key the victory. For Ballard, Liza Berg had 11 kills and 10 digs, while McKinley Kellogg finished with 21 assists and 10 digs.

Emerald Ridge 3, Kentridge 0

Jenna Mullen piled up 19 kills, Isabella Zubrod had 22 assists and Leah Roy led in kills with 18.

Federal Way 3, Christian Faith 0

Lauipou Lologo (7 kills, 4 aces) and Aya Bispham (11 digs, 3 aces) led the 4A Eagles past Christian Faith, ranked No. 1 in the Coaches Association 1B poll.

Auburn Mountainview 3, Auburn 0

The Lions picked up the nonleague victory and some district bragging rights thanks to Molly Cichosz (15 kills, 6 aces), Alexia Elliott-Free (10 kills) and Sam Odren (27 assists).

Washington 3, Franklin Pierce 0

The Patriots, ranked No. 10 in 2A, were led by Tasi Peredo (8 kills, 3 aces), Abby Evans (7 kills, 3 blocks), Brianna Glass (11 assists, 3 aces) and Asia Komacho (10 assists). FP’s Maliah Fakatoufifa had a match-high 21 assists.

Cascade Christian 3, Charles Wright 2

Jessi Walters was the difference with 15 kills and 8 aces. Jordan Clark had 11 assists.

Cedar Park Christian 3, Vashon Island 1

The victory was keyed by Mikayla Massad (16 kills, 13 digs, 5 aces), Jericha Jensen (9 kills, 10 digs, 5 aces), Lani Hansen (35 assists). For Vashon, Georgia Leonardi put together 10 kills and 12 digs and Maddie Cowen had a match-high 18 digs.

Life Christian 3, Chimacum 0

Johnnise Moore was at it again with 14 kills and 7 aces and got help from Carly Normandeau (21 assists, 5 kills) and Kylie Burton (11 digs, 7 aces).

Rainier Christian 3, Puget Sound Adventist 0

Olivia Lanier led the way with 12 kills and 7 aces, while Makaylee Lyman contributed 13 digs.

Providence Christian 3, Lummi 0

McKenzie Johnson led an ace-fest with 8.
