Seahawks announce Central Valley and Medical Lake’s coaches for weekly award

Here is the press release:

RENTON, Wash. – The Seattle Seahawks and Sterling Bank today announced Central Valley High School’s Rick Giampietri and Medical Lake High School’s Wes Hobbs as week five “NFL High School Coaches of the Week.”

Giampietri’s Central Valley Bears (4-1) defeated the visiting Lewis & Clark Tigers by a score of 31-0 in the Greater Spokane League matchup on Friday, September 28. Central Valley will next face the University High School Titans (2-3) on Friday, October 5.

Hobbs led the Medical Lake Cardinals (5-0) to a 20-7 victory over the host Lakeside Eagles in a league match on Friday, September 28. Hobbs’ Cardinals will next face the Jenkins High School Cougars (4-1) in a 1A Northeast contest on Friday, October 5.
