The Seahawks announced Timberline football player Dylan Reinhold as the high school athlete of the week. Reinhold holds a 4.0 GPA and is a center and long-snapper on the football team.
He will be recognized on the field during the Seahawks’ game against the New England Patriots on Oct. 14.

SEATTLE and RENTON, Wash. – The Seattle Seahawks, CenturyLink, Inc. (NYSE: CTL) and Q13 FOX (KCPQ) today announced Dylan Reinhold of Timberline High School as the week five CenturyLink High School Athlete of the Week. Dylan will be recognized on the field at CenturyLink Field during the October 14 game against the New England Patriots.
Dylan, a junior at Timberline, was selected Athlete of the Week based on his dedication to academics, community involvement, leadership and athletic performance. Dylan holds a 4.0 GPA and has taken AP classes in English, Math and History, scoring a 5 on the AP History test. Dylan volunteers at “Blazer Buddy” where he mentors and coaches youth football players and attends the youth games on Saturdays. He has also volunteered at a Bible camp, a food bank, Lacey Senior Center and by reading to first through fifth graders at Horizon Elementary School. Dylan is a current member of his football team’s captain’s counsel, and was a youth football captain for seven years in addition to being elected captain on his freshman football team. On the field, Dylan serves as the center and long snapper for his varsity team and was named player of the week and defensive scout player of the year last year by the Timberline varsity coaching staff.
As high school athlete of the week, the student-athlete will also be recognized at their school in front of their family, peers and teachers. They will also receive a $1,000 grant from CenturyLink and the Seahawks for their school’s ASB fund, in addition to media recognition, tickets and sideline passes to a Seahawks game, and a customized 2012 Nike Seahawks jersey.
