Some high-school volleyball highlights from Monday

Well, here we go again in that mixed-up Metro League Mountain Division.

Just when I thought Seattle Prep was emerging as the volleyball team to beat, rising to No. 4 in this week’s 3A state rankings, the Panthers fell against No. 7 Bainbridge Monday night, 3-1.

Mind you, the Spartans were on a roll before being tripped up last week by Bishop Blanchet. Against Prep, they were sparked by Lauren Sheehan (18 kills, 3 aces), Hannah Wagner (10 kills), Maggie Haskin (31 assists) and Emma Burgess (21 digs).
