Taylor Barton’s 10 top returning quarterbacks next season

With the end of the regular season nearing, I asked Taylor Barton, an all-around good guy who keeps close tabs on recruits in the area for Northwest Elite Index and works with quarterbacks through the Barton Football Academy, to put together a list of the 10 best quarterbacks who will return next season.

And it should be noted: This came before Shadle Park QB Brett Rypien passed for a Washington single-game record 577 yards on Thursday night.

Here’s what Taylor came up with:

1. Ross Bowers, sophomore, Bothell

2. Nick Mitchell, junior, Mount Si

3. Brett Rypien, sophomore, Shadle Park

4. Pierre LeDorze, junior, O’Dea

5. Reilly Hennessey, junior, Camas

6. Nolan Henry, sophomore, Union

7. Derrick Becker, junior, Capital

8. Jake Luton, junior, Marysville Pilchuck

9. Dillon Sugg, junior, Wenatchee

10. Jess Krahn, junior, Hockinson

Also in consideration: Tanner Gueller, junior, W.F. West; Ryan Peerboom, junior, RA Long; Brandon Illies, sophomore, Puyallup
