Mark Perry, who has been Snohomish’s football coach since 1995, resigned his position. Perry took over for iconic coach Dick Armstrong, who spent more than 30 years at the school. Perry also worked under Armstrong as an assistant and spent 30 years as a coach at the school.
In 18 seasons as a head coach, Perry compiled a record of 105-77.
Snohomish went 2-8 this season. Perry’s teams went 18-32 in his last five seasons at the school.
“I don’t know if you can find a better community to coach in,” Perry told the Seattle P-I earlier this year. “When I first got here it was tremendous and it’s still that way.”
